Green sand molding machine for automated casting production of ductile iron

In August 2020, we installed automated green sand casting equipment for a company that produces ductile iron materials. We used a green sand processing line of 20T per hour with 610mm X 710mm green sand molding machines, and customized an automated horizontal molding line with a cooling time of about 60 minutes according to the user's workshop usage; After 3 months of active cooperation and joint efforts from users and us, the green sand casting equipment was officially delivered for use in December and received good feedback; The molding speed is 88-90 sand molds per hour;

The above picture is a record taken during the installation and debugging of the green sand molding machine: the sand mold cavity effect after compaction and mold detachment by the green sand automatic molding machine, and the textile machine castings made of ductile iron casting material obtained after pouring and cooling the sand mold. The casting yield can be controlled at around 97%; A good green sand processing line can provide a continuous supply of casting sand for automated green sand molding machines, and is also the basic guarantee for high-quality castings;

In April 2023, the user once again collaborated with ZOOMZU to purchase a large-sized sand box green molding machine measuring 1620mm x 1400mm, which was used to replace the original resin sand casting process for the production of wear-resistant plates in engineering machinery. This greatly reduced the casting cost and labor intensity of ductile iron wear-resistant plate castings.
