This is a clay sand casting enterprise located in Jiangsu Province, China, mainly engaged in casting various types of gray cast iron and ductile iron pipes, machine tool accessories, and textile machinery accessories. The annual output value of castings is about 20000 tons. Zoomzu provided two new fully automatic horizontal parting pouring lines and a brand new automated horizontal parting molding machine to the enterprise in June 2019 for capacity upgrading and automated casting production. The production was completed and put into use in September of the same year;
The enterprise originally had an automated molding host with a size of 700mm x 800mm. In the capacity upgrade plan, a molding machine with a sand box size of 550mm x 650mm was selected as the new casting line molding host to meet and cover the production and casting needs of more small-sized castings. The height of the sand box can be adjusted within the range of 250mm-460mm, and the pouring line for these two molding machines of different sizes is equipped with the same configuration and servo automation mechanical arm device and hydraulic cylinder pushing device (the above figure shows the record after the initial installation of the equipment during the debugging process).
The tail of the automated casting pouring line uses a high-temperature resistant sand mold cooling conveyor belt, which is installed in the middle of the two production lines to extend the cooling time of the castings in the sand mold, ensuring that the cooling time of the sand mold after pouring is about 80 minutes. A crane guide rail is installed above the pouring section for transporting and pouring molten iron during the pouring process;
After the molding machine completes the compaction and demolding of cast iron pipe fittings, the standard automated clay sand treatment system ensures the quality of casting sand, providing high-quality casting sand for the automatic molding machine.
Record the effect pictures of the molding machine completing the molding of cast iron pipe fittings and placing coated sand and mud cores, making horizontal parting convenient for core placement.
During the low peak period of electricity consumption at night, the workers in the casting workshop use the production line for casting. While the automatic molding machine molds the sand mold, the pouring workers use small capacity pouring bags to pour the sand mold on the molding line, and the cycle operation continues until 8 am the next day;
