What equipment is needed to build a new green sand foundry?

The main equipment for a green sand foundry that meets daily casting production is as follows:

1. Smelting unit: including medium frequency induction furnace, dust removal equipment for waste dust during smelting, and equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and electric suction cups required for material transportation during smelting. The furnace front analysis equipment and iron liquid detection instruments required during the melting process of molten metal iron;

2. Sand mixing unit: It mainly consists of a casting sand processing line made of green sand (wet mold sand), which is used to mix the molding sand required for automated casting production lines, as well as recycle, crush, screen, cool, and store the old sand after casting;

3. Molding unit: mainly consisting of core shooting machines and automated molding lines, selected according to the user's production needs and casting requirements for sand molds, and equipped with air compressors to provide air source for automated molding equipment;

4. Pouring unit: includes transfer packages for molten metal, pouring packages, etc. According to user needs, automated molten metal transfer devices, pouring tracks, automated pouring machines, and pouring line dust removal equipment can also be equipped if conditions permit. Automated equipment can replace daily heavy pouring work and reduce labor costs for workers, while also improving and enhancing the working environment of the casting workshop;

5. Cleaning unit: The cleaning work of castings is mainly completed by shot blasting machines. It should be noted that there are multiple types of shot blasting machines, and users need to choose the appropriate shot blasting machine according to the size and appearance structure of the castings;

6. Testing unit: used for testing finished castings, commonly including hardness testing instruments, tensile testing instruments, metallographic testing instruments, and spectral testing equipment, depending on the user's casting material and performance requirements;

7. Processing unit: mainly includes CNC machining equipment, drilling and milling equipment, dynamic balance detection equipment, heat treatment equipment, as well as equipment for rust prevention and spraying of castings, selected according to the user's casting processing and treatment needs;
